If there is one thing that Amber and I learned on this trip,
it's that you should always be prepared!
Unfortunately for us, we both suffered from not being as prepared as we could have been, Amber a little more than myself.
For me, I just did not pack any clothes for warm weather.
Silly me, New York in March and I didn't pack and flip flops or pants.
So I had to go by some to survive.
Amber on the other hand had a few more struggles…
No tooth paste, no shampoo/conditioner, and no razor.
That's just the toiletries!
As we walked all day through the city, our feet started to kill us.
They hurt Amber so much that she decided to just buy new walking shoes.
Hopping into Payless she found some beautiful black grandpa shoes and
we were off to see the 9/11 memorial.
As we are walking some more, Amber starts to get cold
and of course she left her jacket in the hostel cause she is hard core like that.
Or so she thought.
That is when we ended up in H&M so that Amber could get herself a jacket
to survive the sudden change of weather.
So now we know.
Always be prepared!
And if you travel with Amber, just pack for the two of you :)
